How to Color Online

CrayonTap makes it easy to color beautiful pages right in your browser. Here's everything you need to know to get started.

Getting Started

1. Browse themes on the homepage and pick one you like.
2. Click any coloring page to open it in the coloring tool.
3. Select a color from the palette on the right side.
4. Click any region on the page to fill it with your chosen color.

Tools

Paint (Fill)

The default tool. Click a region to fill it with the selected color. Each region is a separate area you can color independently.

Pen (Freehand Drawing)

Press D or click the Pen button to switch to freehand drawing mode. Draw lines and details directly on the canvas. Choose from 3 brush sizes: Fine, Medium, and Broad.

Eyedropper

Press I or click the Pick button to activate the eyedropper. Click any colored region to pick up its color.

Pan

Click the Pan button or hold Shift while dragging to move around the canvas when zoomed in.

Color Palette

Choose from 8 color categories: Basic, Skin, Pastel, Nature, Neon, Earth, Ocean, and Warm. Each category has 12 colors. You can also pick any custom color using the color picker.

Your recently used colors appear in the “Recent” section for quick access.

Zoom

• Ctrl + scroll wheel to zoom in/out
• + / - keys to zoom
• 0 to reset zoom
• Zoom up to 6x for fine detail work

Undo / Redo

Ctrl+Z to undo, Ctrl+Shift+Z to redo. Pen strokes and color fills have separate undo histories.

Saving Your Work

• Auto-save: Your progress saves automatically in your browser.
• Download PNG: Click the Download button to save a high-resolution image.
• Print: Click Print to print your colored page or save as PDF.
