If Your Content Appears on CrayonTap

If you are the copyright holder of any content on this site and would like it removed, credited differently, or updated, we are happy to comply. Simply send us a request and we will act promptly — typically within 48 hours.

How to Submit a Takedown Request

Please send an email to dmca@crayontap.com (or hello@crayontap.com) with the following information:

  1. Identification of the copyrighted work — a description or link to the original work you believe is being infringed.
  2. Identification of the infringing material — the URL(s) on CrayonTap where the content appears.
  3. Your contact information — name, email address, and (if applicable) the organization you represent.
  4. A statement of good faith — that you believe the use of the material is not authorized by the copyright owner, its agent, or the law.
  5. A statement of accuracy — that the information in your notice is accurate and, under penalty of perjury, that you are the copyright owner or authorized to act on behalf of the owner.
  6. Your signature — physical or electronic.

What Happens Next

  • We will acknowledge your request within 24 hours.
  • Infringing content will be removed or disabled within 48 hours of receiving a valid takedown notice.
  • If you prefer, we can add proper attribution instead of removing the content — just let us know.

Counter-Notification

If you believe your content was removed by mistake or misidentification, you may submit a counter-notification to dmca@crayontap.com with:

  • Identification of the removed material and its previous location.
  • A statement under penalty of perjury that you have a good faith belief the material was removed by mistake.
  • Your name, address, phone number, and a statement consenting to jurisdiction.
  • Your physical or electronic signature.

Repeat Infringers

CrayonTap will, in appropriate circumstances, disable or remove content from repeat sources of infringement.
